It is to hoped that this loco will return to its namesake heritage railway now its duties on the Rhymney branch have finished, although when heritage railways will re-start operations is anyone's guess. It would be good to see it back in Regional Railways livery. 37 421, also used on the recent Rhymney services, was repainted this way in preservation, only to be repainted in Colas livery when returned to the main line.
